Molly is a multidisciplinary artist and licensed and board certified creative arts therapist. She was born and raised in Washington DC. Molly moved to NYC in 2008 after completing her BFA at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). She has worked for over 10+ years as a teaching artist and workshop instructor in the NYC area. She completed her Master’s at Pratt Institute in 2022 in Creative Arts Therapy. Molly owns a private practice and resides in Brooklyn, NY with her dog Pearl.

Molly’s artistic practice spans a wide spectrum of textile mediums, including rug tufting, weaving, embroidery, crochet, beading, paper mache, and natural dyes. Painting and sculptural elements are integrated directly within her textile works, creating dimensional pieces that merge playfulness and handwork to challenge hierarchies between fine art and the decorative. By integrating various mediums within her textiles, she expands the language of craft within contemporary fine art.
